The findings do not demonstrate any difference for any of the different treatments for alcohol misuse. These studies did not include patients with mental health disorders.

To summarize, this study suggests that using a broad screening strategy in conjunction with a standardized protocol is a better and more widely used tool. For instance, the use of the two groups of tests could be used to treat mental disorders in patients with mental disorders or individuals presenting with mental disorders.

Conclusions: The two groups of treatment recommendations from this study do not provide universal support for the use of the five psychoactive drugs and alcohol misuse tests, and many other treatments for mental disorders. Rather, they provide guidelines for the assessment of treatments for various mental disorders within psychiatry and other specializations. We have shown that these four psychosocial treatments reduce the use of each psychoactive substance when compared with alcohol as well as those treatments, although further discussion will need to be needed to decide whether the use of these therapies or other strategies is clinically appropriate. Thus, the use of treatment in mental health needs may not be a universal principle.
